Latest in a series of housing schemes in London providing much needed quality homes in the capital
Willmott Dixon has been appointed by Hounslow Council to deliver Frank Towell Court, a £31.8m housing complex that will create 102 new homes in the borough.
Located in Feltham, the project will involve construction of two nine storey residential towers, a four-storey block of flats and seven Mews houses. Combining a mixture of apartments, houses and maisonettes, the project will also include landscaped gardens and public realm for residents to enjoy, along with wildlife areas, a park and new pathways.
Sustainability is at the heart of Frank Towell Court’s design, with a range of energy saving and biodiversity initiatives being utilised. Photovoltaic panels will be fitted to the roof of each building to generate renewable energy, while the build will embrace a landscaping design that incorporates rain gardens, providing a sustainable method of irrigation. Further biodiversity measures include the provision of bird, bat and hedgehog boxes, as well as a bee/bird bath.

This is the second recent housing scheme that Willmott Dixon has delivered for Hounslow Council. In 2019, the company handed over Bristol Court, a £26m retirement living scheme providing 94 new homes that saw 66% of the project’s budget spent with companies located within 20 miles of the site. The company also has another large residential scheme nearby at 300 Harrow Road, which will see the delivery of 112 homes for Westminster City Council in 2023.
