The destructive impact we have on our climate is increasingly clear, and we know that construction is one of the major players in upsetting our planet’s delicate balance. Humanity's appetite for resources has led to rapid rises in the amount of carbon in our atmosphere, and increased pollution in our air, oceans and on land. This in turn accelerates climate change and increases both flooding and water shortages. The consequences of climate change are dire, and we must act now to save habitats and stop the extinction of many species of plants and animals.
Willmott Dixon has signed up to some of the world’s toughest targets to keep global warming below 1.5°C to help create a better planet for future generations. Business as usual is not an option; it is Now or Never.
