Willmott Dixon to deliver £92m landmark campus at Wembley Park
Development will deliver a new education facility at one of the UK's most iconic addresses
Willmott Dixon has signed a £6.4 million contract with County Durham Development to further develop the North East Technology Park- NETPark - in Sedgefield, one of the fastest growing science parks in the North East. Working with the architects Deveraux, the company will construct two separate two storey structures that will incorporate laboratory space and office space.
Each of the structures is designed to provide accommodation for up to four tenants and will incorporate renewable technologies to the roof area.
NETPark aims to encourage small to medium size high-tech companies into the area who are developing technology and products in the physical sciences.
This extension of NETPark is through the framework Scape, a local authority-controlled company that enables public sector clients to save time and money by providing OJEU compliant framework agreements for construction related services.
The agreements can save clients up to nine months procurement time and considerable cost instead of individually going through the OJEU tender process.
