Willmott Dixon works with Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council to provide a repairs and maintenance service to the council’s residents and wants to meet as many as possible at an open day on Tuesday 8 March, at The Community House in Barwell from 11am until 1pm.
It will give residents an opportunity to meet the Willmott Dixon team and put forward ideas for schemes that can be carried out to improve the local community. Schemes can include anything from bulb planting, clearing shrub land or electrical work.
The open day is the first event of its kind in the area. It will allow residents to exchange ideas with one another and discuss with local organisations including the Police, housing officers and Willmott Dixon what they feel would benefit the Hinckley area.
Marie Hope, Willmott Dixon’s resident liaison officer in Hinckley, said, “We want to create a lasting legacy and there is no better way of understanding what residents would like to see than to ask them. We enjoy thinking of new ways to contribute and this meeting will ensure our community work matches what residents would like to see.”
