Willmott Dixon’s team of energy efficiency experts will be giving advice at the CIH conference in Manchester to help landlords and households access millions of pounds for home improvements under the government’s Energy Companies Obligation (ECO).
ECO was introduced in January 2013 to reduce energy consumption and support people living in fuel poverty; it does this by funding energy efficiency improvements worth around £1.3 billion every year. Running until March 2015, ECO supports the installation of measures in low-income households and areas, and in ‘hard to treat’ properties. It works with the Green Deal to give support and funding for energy efficiency improvements in homes.
As one of the UK’s major providers of services for Green Deal and energy improvement work, Willmott Dixon experts provide advice on making ECO work to reduce energy bills for thousands of homes in the UK. Rob Lambe, managing director of Willmott Dixon Energy Services, says, “Our specialist technical team will be at CIH Manchester to offer free advice to assist delegates in turning their plans into fully developed schemes that obtain substantial funding. We want to make a difference in helping people access the £1.3 billion available every year to cut energy bills.”
The Willmott Dixon team will be in the CIH Manchester Green Room from 9am-5pm on 25-27 June. Personal appointments can be booked by contacting Candice Wilkins on 01462 476350 or candice.wilkins@willmottdixon.co.uk
