Operations Manager
- Leadership & Accountability - Lead and support multiple Project Leads and site teams, creating clarity, consistency and confidence in delivery.
- Pre-Construction & Work Winning - Collaborate with Pre-Construction teams during first-stage tenders, bringing buildability, logistics and programme support -Identify and resolve early-stage risks.
- Programme, Commercial & Risk Control - Ensure projects are planned properly, reported honestly, and recovered early when performance deviates.
- Design, Quality & Technical Assurance - Lead operational input into design development, ensuring information is complete, coordinated and buildable.
- Supply Chain Leadership - Build long-term, trusted relationships with Supply Chain Partners.
- Safety, Health, Environment & Sustainability - Be visibly accountable for the highest standards of SHE and act decisively where unsafe behaviors or conditions are observed.
- Customers & Reputation - Act as a trusted senior interface for customers.
- What Success Looks Like - Projects are calmly controlled and well reported with the teams feeling clear, supported and accountable.
Essential and Desirable Criteria
Essential Criteria
- Experience leading multiple live construction projects.
- Strong track record of resolving technical, operational and contractual challenges.
- Ability to control programme, cost, quality and risk.
- Experience working closely with commercial teams, designers and supply chain partners.
- Ability to interpret contracts, programmes, drawings and specifications.
- Relevant Level 4 qualification (HNC / NVQ4 or equivalent).
- Full UK driving license.
- Experience across multiple sectors.
- Degree in a construction-related discipline.
- MCIOB status (or working towards).
