Assistant BIM Information Manager

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Assistant BIM Information Manager to join our growing digital construction team here at Willmott Dixon Interiors.


In this role, you’ll play a key part in implementing and managing Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes and digital technologies across a variety of exciting projects. You’ll support the Digital Construction Manager and wider team to deliver project requirements, implement Digital Implementation Plans, and ensure our information management processes are efficient, accurate, and aligned with client and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:


  • Digital Construction Support: Assist Digital Construction Managers in implementing BIM processes across live projects.

  • Compliance and Data Management: Understand project-specific BIM requirements, ensuring all data is accurate, compliant, and aligned with client and ISO standards.

  • BIM Communication: Promote BIM best practice across project teams, providing clear guidance and support to ensure all stakeholders follow agreed protocols.

  • Model Coordination: Coordinate BIM models across disciplines, identify and resolve clashes, and ensure design and construction information is fully integrated.

  • Supply Chain Collaboration: Work with supply chain partners to ensure timely delivery of model data, escalating and resolving issues where needed.

  • Information Management: Support end-to-end digital information management, including handover documentation (O&Ms) and engagement with project stakeholders.

Essential Skills:


  • Practical experience within the construction industry.

  • Familiarity with digital construction software and tools.

  • A strong customer and quality focus, with a commitment to continuous improvement.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

Desirable Skills:


  • Experience with BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or similar platforms.

  • Understanding of BIM standards and protocols (e.g. ISO 19650).

  • Experience coordinating BIM models across multiple disciplines.

  • A degree in construction-related field, ideally a masters in BIM… Alternatively, relevant professional experience in BIM or digital construction/information management.
