Assistant Digital Construction Manager (BIM)

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Digital Construction Manager to join our growing Digital Construction team at Willmott Dixon Interiors.

This role is primarily focused on Building Information Modelling (BIM). You will play a key role in implementing, managing, and championing BIM processes across a range of exciting projects. Supporting the Digital Construction Manager, you will help ensure BIM is embedded effectively from design through to handover, driving quality, coordination, and compliance across our projects.

Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:

BIM Implementation & Delivery

• Support the implementation of BIM processes across live projects, ensuring alignment with company standards and client requirements.


• Assist in the development, management and monitoring of Digital Implementation Plans and BIM Execution Plans (BEPs)

Model Coordination & Quality Assurance

• Coordinate federated BIM models across multiple disciplines.


• Review, manage and validate BIM models to ensure full compliance with the Employer’s Information Requirements (EIR) and Asset Information Requirements (AIR), including data integrity and information completeness.


• Maintain model quality, structure and coordination integrity in line with company BIM standards and agreed workflows.

Standards & Compliance

• Apply BIM standards and protocols (including ISO 19650) across assigned projects.


• Monitor information delivery to ensure alignment with client, contractual and industry requirements.

BIM Leadership & Communication

• Promote BIM best practice across project teams.


• Provide guidance and support to designers, consultants, and supply chain partners to ensure consistent BIM delivery.


• Act as a key point of contact for BIM-related queries on assigned projects.

Digital Handover & Information Delivery

• Support the structured delivery of digital information throughout the project lifecycle.


• Contribute to the coordination and validation of digital handover requirements and asset information models (AIM).

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience with BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, Solibri.


• Understanding of BIM standards and protocols (e.g. ISO 19650).


• Experience coordinating BIM models across multiple disciplines.


• Practical experience within the construction or Fit-out industry sectors.


• Strong understanding of model coordination and digital workflows.


• Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.


• A proactive, quality-driven mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Desirable Skills:

• A degree in a construction-related field (ideally with a focus on BIM or digital construction), or equivalent practical BIM experience.
