A bumper year of fundraising in 2017 by our team in Cobham has helped them to reach the amazing milestone of raising £500,000 for Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice.
Whether it’s hiking or biking hundreds of miles, charity golf days, volunteering their time or donating goods to the hospice’s shops, staff have been making a huge effort to raise funds.
A total of £143,850 was raised in 2017 alone, which is enough to pay for three weeks of care services at the hospice for children with life-limiting conditions. It brought the overall total of funds raised over a four-year period to £500,000.
The hospice recognised this achievement and gave their thanks by presenting the team with the ‘Outstanding Corporate Sponsor’ award at their bi-annual business awards ceremony.
