Proven at the highest ratings

We currently have close to 50 BREEAM projects live or recently completed. These include five at BREEAM Outstanding, the scheme's highest rating, achieved by only a small proportion of UK buildings, and 19 at BREEAM Excellent.

Current Outstanding schemes include the College of North West London's Wembley Campus, Glyn-Coch Primary School, Bishop Hedley RC All-Through School in Merthyr, Paddock SEND School and the redevelopment of Bath Fire Station.

A track record across every sector

A BREEAM Excellent or Outstanding rating is hardest to achieve in the most technically demanding buildings, where energy-intensive equipment and process loads work against the assessment. We achieve it consistently, and across the asset types many contractors avoid:

• Healthcare and life sciences, Barnes Hospital, new-build inpatient facility, and laboratory and sterile-services environments including the Abbott Diabetes Centre and Swansea University's Institute of Life Science.
• Blue light and emergency services, Bath Fire Station (Outstanding), Hertfordshire Constabulary's HQ at Stanborough, Thames Valley Police's Forensic Laboratory, and police facilities in Cambridgeshire and Dorset.

A track record across every sector

• Education, from primary to university, Glyn-Coch, Bishop Hedley, Bassaleg, Caerleon and Perse schools, alongside Oxford Brookes University, Swansea University, Queen Mary University of London, and colleges in Bridgend, Somerset (Strode) and Crosskeys.
• Workplace and commercial, Sheffield's Fargate regeneration, 19 Cornwall Street, and 5 St Philips Place in Birmingham.

More than a single standard

Increasingly, customers want buildings certified against several frameworks at once.

We routinely deliver BREEAM alongside WELL (health and wellbeing), NABERS (measured energy performance in use), Passivhaus (fabric-first energy efficiency), Building with Nature (green infrastructure) and Net Zero Carbon in Operation.

Glyn-Coch Primary School carries five of these standards in a single scheme, Passivhaus, WELL, BREEAM Outstanding, Building with Nature and Net Zero Carbon in Operation, a combination very few contractors have delivered.

Experience and knowledge few can match

Our BREEAM pedigree is long and well documented. Landmark projects include:

• Bristol's first BREEAM Outstanding (2014) project, Cubex's Aurora office development at Finzels Reach.
• The UK headquarters of WWF, a BREEAM Outstanding building designed to use 67% less energy than a typical office.
• A new home for the Met Office's supercomputer in Exeter.
• The first BREEAM Outstanding healthcare facility - Houghton-le-Spring Urgent & Primary Care Centre, County Durham.
• The first non-domestic refurbishment and fit-out to achieve the 2014 BREEAM Excellent rating, and the first BREEAM Outstanding office fit-out refurbishment - No 4 The Square, Stockley Park.
