Iveshead School and St Botolph's School

In Shepshed, Loughborough, our Midlands team have completed works on three schools all based on the same live campus. Each phase of the project has been safely and seamlessly delivered, ensuring minimal disruption to nearby pupils and staff.

The project was prompted by the increased housing in the area, which in turn meant that the requirement for education provision had increased.

Procured through the Scape Major Works Framework, the development was funded by Leicestershire County Council and designed by CPMG Architects.

Iveshead Secondary School

Iveshead School has been extended and refurbished to accommodate the merging of two schools. Iveshead School and Shepshed High School have become one institution, creating an ‘all-through’ school for students aged 11-19.

To accommodate this, the project included a multi-phase modular extension and refurbishment with spaces including a six-classroom extension, foyer entrance, outdoor canopy, hard play areas, staff and student cycle spaces, new and enhanced pathways and external landscaping works.

St Botolph's Church of England Primary School

The old Shepshed High School site has been refurbished to become the new St Botolph's Church of England Primary School.

To create fun, inclusive learning spaces for younger children, our team have revamped the classrooms (including a dedicated wraparound room, nurture room, sensory room, science room, music room and food room), libraries, corridors and beyond!

We have also demolished the old Primary School building.

The school includes fun, creative spaces to learn including a space-themed library for Key Stage 2 pupils and an under the sea library for EYFS and Key Stage 1 pupils
