Willmott Dixon completes work on new Information Teaching Lab for Queen Mary University of London
New laboratory space focuses on sustainability while increasing teaching capacity at the Mile End Campus.
Willmott Dixon has been appointed by Paradigm Housing Association to build over 100 new homes in Luton, Bedfordshire.
The £10.3 million scheme adjacent to the M1 motorway will provide a total of 101 new apartments available for affordable and intermediate rent. All properties within the three block scheme will have a significant proportion of energy supplied by photovoltaic panels as part of a target that 10 per cent of power is generated from renewable sources.
The architects are Stanley Bragg and the three block design will consist of 37, 44 and 20 apartments which Willmott Dixon will complete by March 2012.
Tim Carpenter, managing director for Willmott Dixon’s housing business says: “We are delighted to be working with Paradigm Housing Association and Stanley Bragg to create much needed homes with quality design and construction.”
